Meet Your Therapist
Gina DeMasi, MS, CCC-SLP, TSSLD
I’m so happy you’re here!
I’m Gina DeMasi, a certified pediatric speech-language pathologist and the owner of Little Talkers Speech Therapy. I hold my Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) and my Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities certificate (TSSLD) from New York State.
I received my Master of Science in Speech Pathology degree from Brooklyn College and my Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Penn State University.
Over the years, I’ve seen how meaningful progress happens when therapy feels natural, engaging, and connected to a child’s everyday life. I started Little Talkers Speech Therapy to help support families within the Long Island community my own children are growing up in.
Beyond my professional experience, becoming a mom has deeply shaped the way I approach my work. It has given me a greater appreciation for the questions, concerns, and emotions families often experience when navigating their child’s development.
Because of this, I place a strong emphasis on building meaningful relationships with families. I believe speech therapy works best when parents and caregivers feel supported, informed, and confident in the process. Creating that foundation of trust is one of the most important parts of the work I do.
I am currently trained in many evidence-based programs including PROMPT, Kaufman Method, Social Thinking, Sarah Ward's Executive Function Skills Program, and Linda Mood-Bell's Visualizing and Verbalizing.
